What is King's Kids?

King's Kids International is a world-wide youth ministry committed to leading children and teens of all nations into a proven knowledge of God and together make Jesus Christ known to all peoples in the fulfilling of the Great Commission. King's Kids equips, challenges, mobilizes, and establishes this generation of young people through a partnership with the family, the local church, and YWAM. King's Kids International is non-profit Christian organization staffed by volunteers.

King's Kids El Paso's vision is to disciple young people so they can reach the world around them and help fulfill the Great Commission. We accomplish this through the following means:

• Involving local children and teenagers in two teams which minister in the community throughout the school year

• Developing mission education programs and materials to expand young people's missions vision

• Spring Break Outreaches which give hands on experience in servanthood and evangelism

• Foreign outreaches each summer

• Leadership training to equip other adults to disciple youth

• Working in partnership with parents and the local church to instill godly character in young people

King's Kids El Paso is a non-profit organization supported financially by two major sources: offerings from individuals and congregations who believe in our ministry, and excess funds raised through camps and summer outreaches. These finances cover the general expenses of running the organization such as office expenses, purchase and maintenance of vehicles, office rent and utilities, and extra program resources. On many occasions we have taken young people into the local teams or camps and not charged them any fees due to financial situations in their families that would have otherwise kept them from participating.

All our staff workers are full time, unpaid volunteers, funded by outside contributions from friends and churches. King's Kids does not provide any salary or benefits to them. We would like to challenge those who see the fruit of King's Kids El Paso to pray about becoming financial supporters of the ministry or the staff. All donations to KKEP are tax deductible.

Founded in 1960, Youth With A Mission is now one of the largest interdenominational Christian ministries, with 16,000 volunteer staff based in more than 1100 locations in over 171 countries. In addition, tens of thousands more people from scores of nations are involved on a short-term basis each year. Coming from many different backgrounds and working in a wide range of situations, YWAMers are united in their desire to be part of changing people's lives for the better. They have responded to "The Great Commission" - Jesus' command to His disciples to go into all the world and tell the Good News. They believe the gospel of Jesus is not just about words, but also actions. So they share their faith through many different kinds of practical help - from agricultural training to running medical clinics - as well as telling about the Christian beliefs that inspire their actions.

Statement of Faith

We believe that the Bible is God's inspired and authoritative word, revealing that Jesus Christ is God's Son, that man is created in God's image, that He created us to have eternal life through Jesus Christ, that although all men have sinned and come short of God's glory, God has made salvation possible through the death on the cross of Jesus Christ, that repentance, faith, love and obedience are fitting responses to God's initiative of grace towards us, that God desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth, and that the Holy Spirit's power is demonstrated in and through us for the accomplishing of Christ's last commandment, "...Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15)
